Cookie Policy

Cookies, browser storage and privacy choices on PalaPili.

Effective date:

This policy explains browser storage used by PalaPili, operated by Crownbyte Ltd.

What cookies and browser storage do

Cookies are small pieces of data a website asks your browser to keep. Local storage keeps information in your browser until it is removed by the site or cleared through browser settings. These technologies can support sign-in, preferences, security or optional services.

Storage used by the service

Sign-in and security

better-auth.session_token keeps you signed in. It normally expires after seven days and can be refreshed while you continue using the service. On HTTPS sites its name may begin with __Secure-. Signing out removes the active sign-in cookie.

better-auth.state helps verify the sign-in redirect and prevent forged requests. It has a five-minute lifetime and is used during social sign-in. The sign-in provider may also use storage on its own site.

If a sign-in flow uses better-auth.dont_remember, it records a session-only sign-in preference and normally lasts for that browser session.

Interface preferences

When you change the sidebar in an account or administration area, sidebar_state stores whether it is open for up to seven days. This preference is not used for advertising.

Payment services

Stripe may use cookies and similar technologies on its payment and billing pages to process transactions and prevent fraud. Details and storage durations are described in Stripe’s cookie policy.

Hosting and security providers may also use storage when a protection feature is triggered. See Cloudflare's cookie information for the purpose and lifetime of cookies associated with those features.

Optional services

Where an optional service is listed, its policy describes the information and storage it uses. The presence of a service in this policy does not itself grant permission to use your information.

Managing browser storage

You can inspect, block or delete cookies and site data in your browser's privacy settings. Clearing sign-in cookies signs you out; blocking essential storage may prevent account or payment features from working. Clearing preferences resets the associated settings.

Local storage usually persists until you or the site removes it. Browser settings apply to that browser and device; repeat the change on other devices you use. Controls for an external sign-in or payment provider are also available through that provider.

Changes and questions

We update this policy when the storage used by the service changes. The Privacy Policy explains information handling and your rights. Email support@palapili.com with questions about browser storage.
